She will perform 'Star-Spangled Banner' on February 3rd
Alicia Keys will perform the national anthem at Super Bowl XLVII, the Associated Press reports. Last year's anthem was sung by Kelly Clarkson, and past singers have included Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Billy Joel, Diana Ross, Neil Diamond, Cher, Barry Manilow and more. Christina Aguilera notably bungled the words during her 2011 performance by repeating a line with a slight change instead of the proper lyric.Beyoncé is set for the halftime show, with Destiny's Child reuniting onstage. Super Bowl XLVII takes place February 3rd in New Orleans.
